Villa Son Mito is a spectacular villa that is something special due to its location and facilities. The size of the property alone, at 300,000 m², is absolutely charming and you can speak of a perfect secluded location in the middle of a wooded area. The villa is situated on a hill, which is why you have a great view of nature all the way to the sea. As the house is south-facing, you benefit from the sun all day long. There are two parking spaces for your hire car in the garage; if you are travelling with several vehicles, you can park them in the large courtyard. The garden and pool area are surrounded by a natural garden. The pool area is just a few steps from the house and is connected by a wide natural stone terrace. After a dip in the refreshing pool, you can relax on the sun-coloured loungers, which you enter via a wide stepped entrance. Three parasols are available to provide you with shade. There are two large covered terraces in front of and behind the house. Depending on the date and season, you can choose the most comfortable spot, as both terraces are equipped with a dining table and chairs. There is also a relaxing armchair group with high-quality wooden furniture and comfortable cushions. As there is a permanently installed barbecue station on the premises, there is absolutely nothing standing in the way of a cosy barbecue evening.

The centrepiece of the spacious villa, which offers plenty of space for larger groups of travellers in any configuration, is the fantastic living room, which is connected to the terrace by several floor-to-ceiling windows. Under high ceilings with exposed wooden beams is the large sofa area with white and beige sofas and chairs, where you can cosy up in front of the roaring fire. The white wood-burning stove offers a particularly high level of cosiness and is practically in the centre of the room. The dining table with robust wooden table and chic wicker chairs is located behind the walled fireplace, which acts as a room divider. The large kitchen is located in a separate room right next to the dining area. Equipped with a white fitted kitchen with an impressively complete range of appliances: induction hob with separate oven at a comfortable height, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee and Nespresso machine, lemon squeezer, wine cooler, dishwasher and two large fridge/freezer combinations offer all the convenience you need for self-catering. There is also another dining table here. The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the adjoining utility room; here you will also find an iron and a hoover. In total there are five very spacious bedrooms and four bathrooms. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with two single beds and even a small desk. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower and a bidet. What is particularly practical is that there is a guest toilet on this floor for all guests to use. We take the stairs up to the next floor, where we find four more bedrooms. The white walls, terracotta floor tiles and beautiful wooden doors convey the perfect image of a typical Mallorcan holiday home. To the right and left at the end of the hallway are two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, finished with sandstone-coloured tiles to match the bright style of the house. A fourth, ultra-modern bathroom is located between the two bedrooms in the centre of the hallway and is shared by both bedrooms. All bedrooms have air conditioning and some even have a French balcony and all offer space for a desk or a small seating area with high-quality furniture in perfect cottage style. Thanks to the absolutely quiet location, you can enjoy peaceful nights at Villa Son Mito and start the day completely relaxed from this perfect base from which to discover the island.

Despite the wonderful secluded location on this spectacular 300,000 m² estate and the peace and quiet that comes with it, you benefit from the proximity to the villages of Cas Concos or Calonge, where you will not only find shopping facilities, but also several bars and restaurants. In Felanitx, the home of the modern painter and sculptor Miquel Barcelo (his remarkable, oversized ceramic work can be seen in Palma Cathedral), you can buy local fresh produce at the market on Sundays and then prepare it together at the barbecue in the evening. If you love nature, you can visit the Mondragó National Park, where you can discover an incredible variety of Mallorcan flora and fauna. Within the park, you also have the option of taking a short hike along a short, rocky path between the two bays of Ses Fonts de N'Alis and S'Amarado. Otherwise, you can choose between the super beautiful natural beaches such as Cala Da Nau or Cala D'Or, the golden bay. Cala D'Or offers countless small sandy beaches, but also a marina, plenty of bars and restaurants and a somewhat more urban flair overall. All of these beaches are around 7 km from the beautiful Villa Son Mito, as is the well-known Vall D'Or golf course with a very good restaurant. Your time outside the villa can be spent in a variety of ways. If you want to leave the tranquillity of Son Mito, you can do as you please. The most beautiful beaches on the southern tip of Mallorca, such as the natural beach of Cala Sa Nau, can be reached quickly in a hire car.
