Large Apartment in Ragusa and Exceptional View

Large apartment located in the center, in Ragusa Ibla, UNESCO city of southeastern Sicily. On the second floor of a stately building, in Piazza Duomo, it is right in front of the famous San Giorgio Cathedral, an example of Baroque art famous for its mighty dome. It is located in Via Duomo, an ancient street that connects Piazza della Repubblica to Piazza Duomo and passes through the ancient district of Ibla with its houses, alleys and eighteenth-century palaces. It is ideal for walking and visiting the city center, a short distance from Scicli (25 km), Modica (15 km), Noto (50 km), and from Marina di Ragusa (25 km) with its beaches of golden sand. The Comiso Airport is 23 Km away and the Donnafugata Golf Resort & Spa is 26 km away.

On the second floor of a noble building, it offers smart and refined interiors, equipped with all comforts, with decorated ceilings, stuccos and antique floors. It consists of a living area and a sleeping area with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. An elegant living room with a beautiful panoramic view, furnished with armchairs, large wall-mounted TV and a bar corner. A kitchen, with TV, dining table and comfortable double sofa bed, offers fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and induction plates. A bathroom with a hydromassage shower. Two bedrooms: one with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a hydromassage shower; a double room, with an en-suite bathroom and a hydromassage shower, which opens onto a small balcony with a view. Each room has a TV and a safe. Air conditioning, hairdryer (one for the bathroom) and Wi-Fi. A laundry, shared with the guests of the two neighboring rooms, with washing machine and dryer.

Ragusa Ibla, historical centre of Ragusa, is a nice district located n a hill, characterized by picturesque humble cottages and narrow streets dominated by the majestic San Giorgio’s Cathedral. Pearl of “Val di Noto”, Ibla was declared World Heritage by Unesco in 2002, as well as Modica and Scicli, for the great value of its monuments and architecture. With its charming churches and its fascinating aristocratic buildings it represents one of the higher evidences of Sicilian Late Baroque style. Its location allows to easily reach all the tourist places in the province of Ragusa, a territory where sea, sun, culture and a rich gastronomic tradition merge together.
