Try and imagine to find yourself far away from the town chaos, amidst the greenery of the country, listening undisturbed to the birdsong or to the breeze through the trees leaves…..well, you have just imagined to stay in the agrotourism Il Brugnolo.
At the Brugnolo you can do everything or ...

nothing, as you want ; you can scour naturalistic routes walking or riding a bicycle, taste our local produce in cellars, cheese factories and vinegar factories along the Wine and Savour Route or in the numerous typical restaurants in the neighbourhood.
To run and play free and safely, to be surprised by the sudden flight of a pheasant or by the unexpected spring of a hare can be an exciting experience for the kids.
They who are fond of story and arts will find Il Brugnolo as an exceptional point of reference as it is situated in the middle of Emilia between Modena and Reggio, precisely in Scandiano, birthplace of Boiardo, author of the poem Orlando Innamorato (Orlando in love).
From here you can quickly reach Reggio Emilia with the beautiful basilica La Ghiara and the theatre Romolo Valli, known throughout Italy first of all by the dancing enthusiasts, Modena with the cathedral recognized World Heritage Site, Parma with the baptistery entirely fresco painted and the well-preserved castles in the neighbourhood, the lands of Matilde of Canossa with parish churches and castles, Mantua and Bologna. In the neighbourhood there is then a continuous festival with concerts, performances, villages fêtes and other events such as medieval pageants or you can bath in the nature of the Giant Park in the Appennino Reggiano (mountains of Reggio Emilia) or follow the trekking routes on the Spallanzani or Matilda path.
If you like the thermal treatments you can benefit the neighbourhood of the Spa of Salvarola, if you are sporting men you can visit Maranello with the factory, the museum and the test race track of the famous Ferrari car and perhaps go a round. Furthermore you will find near the agrotourism covered and open air swimming pool, tennis courts, athletics centre, riding school and golf courses.
