The hamlet of St Joseph, at the foot of the Montagne Noire has two comfortable cottages and the home of the owners, retired farmers. The gites (ref. G40 and G730), independent, have been set up in a stable and a barn. All around, one hectare of meadows, for a guaranteed calm. To refresh you, nice swimming pool in the courtyard. The restored bread oven welcomes the residents around a meal cooked in the oven.
For your sporting leisure, the Montagne Noire offers hiking trails or mountain biking, lake fishing or mountain streams, deep forests, dams of Lampy or Cammazes. Leisure and water sports base in St-Ferréol. For lovers of heritage and history, Grand site of Sorèze, bastide of Revel, Rigole de Riquet (you are very close to the springs of the Canal du Midi) that you can follow until the division of the waters in the Lauragais, on the threshold of Naurouze.
La Baraque à Paille, independent cottage. Ground floor: living room with fully equipped open kitchen area (complete appliance equipment), bathroom. Upstairs: a bedroom for two people (double bed 140x190cm), a bathroom (bath) with toilet, and on the landing a large space for children with two bunk beds and a sofa bz. Reversible air conditioning (heat pump) on the floor and ground floor, stove (wood supplied).
Sheets and towels provided (beds made on arrival). Terrace, garden furniture, barbecue for meals outside. The salt pool common to both cottages (11 x 6 m, depth 1.70 m in the middle and 1.20 m on the edges) is fenced. In the large shed, you can play table football, play table tennis. You can borrow bicycles (large and small) for beautiful walks.
