This traditional holiday house has bright rooms. An open plan living and kitchen area with alcove, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom awaits you inside the house. You can enjoy the sunlight throughout the day and spend hours in the evening on the partly open terrace. You can spend cosy moments during cool evenings in the living room which has a fireplace with warm, crackling fire as a backdrop. The 1200 square metre plot amidst nature offers ample place to play. The beach with wonderful dunes is nearby. The region offers a wide range of leisure activities. The small port of Rørvig has a fish smoke house and a ferry sails from here to Hundested. From here you can reach Copenhagen in no time. You can get the feel of a geological park in the glacial headlands of Odsherred. Along the grave mound street, you can find graves and tombs that date back to the stone age and bronze age. There are remains of the historical forest village of Ulkerup and the Hempel Glass Museum in this region which are about 300 years old. A replica of the sun chariot found in the moors of Trundholm moses is available in Odsherred Museum. You can also take a look at the Lommesten rocks as well as the castle of Naesholm Borg located on a small island in lake Nygård Sø and situated between Hojby and Nykobing. In Odsherred you can also find a nature school, where you can learn to catch sea trout, go on butterfly safaris, take expeditions through forest and explore the forest with troll and fox trips. Children can have fun and enjoy exciting moments in the Odsherred Fire Museum. Visit the Sjaelland Adventure Land located nearby, the galleries typical of Odsherred and the Dragsholm Palace built in the 13th century. Havnebyen is the only proper fishing harbour with boats and a small fish smoke house. Even fishermen on recreation can enjoy fishing in this region. You can enjoy shopping and visit coffee houses in Nykøbing Sjælland. Seal safaris are available in the harbour of Rorvig. You can sail from Rorvig to Hundested and reach Copenhagen in just one hour by taking a ferry. Enjoy the smoked fish while your children catch crabs on the pier.
